Radios and Pagers

We are trying to update the list of assigned radios and pagers. Please let Michael Smalley or Chief Gasparich know if you have a new or old radio. New radios are Kenwood or Vertex and old radios would be Motorola MT 1000 or HT 600. If you have an assigned radio we also need to know if it has the repeater frequency and if it works properly. Please let Michael or Joe know if you don't have a pager or if yours does not work. We need to update this list by the March Fire meeting.

Web Site Access

I've noticed that several NAFPD members have been having trouble logging in to the site in the last 30 days. If you've lost your password or username just send an email to me or to webmaster@nokomisfire.org and I'll reset your login credentials for you.

As you may know, some sections of nokomisfire.org are restricted to registered users due to the fact that not all fire service news and information is intended for public consumption. We do however, wish to share information with our counterparts in other area departments. If you are a member of an area department and would like to have enhanced access to the site, just drop an email to webmaster@nokomisfire.org and supply your name, email address, fire department affiliation and a phone number in case I need to get further information.

NAFPD Activities at the Nokomis Homecoming

The July drill and meeting will be changed to Thursday, July 5th to clean up the trucks and set up for bingo.

The firemen will be running Bingo again this year. A sign-up sheet was passed around at the June meeting to get workers for the bingo stand. We would like to have at least 6-7 workers for each shift. Shifts are: Friday 6-10, Saturday 8-11 and Sunday 6-10. Please contact Charlie O'Malley or Gary Hulbert if you are available to work any shift.

We will need drivers for the trucks to go in the parade.

Chief Gasparich, Smalley and Jackson will take two trucks out to the park Sunday night for the fireworks show.
